Our Non-profit OrganizationThe Good Karma Los Angeles Org is a non-profit organization with the goal of creating a community center where a good set of hands and kind-hearted people can serve in the areas of cooking three free hot meals a day, mentorship, for those in need of warmth and a smile. We aren't quite there yet and we have a ways to go but the dedication of one family has inspired our team, focusing all efforts into this dream. The plan is to start small and build onward; our first task is feeding our unhoused neighbors in Los Angeles.

Our Timeline |
We are building a mobile Community Kitchen, food delivery service focusing on delivering food on the streets at night when all the LA City & LA County food banks & shelters close. Karma, our food truck, will travel across LA feeding the unhoused wherever we can. We are a 100% non-profit dedicated to serving our community.

The Founders
“My dad had a dream to build an orphanage for children in India; we're not there yet. We are starting in Los Angeles for now. This year I was able to buy a used food truck for The Good Karma Los Angeles in hopes to build it to feed the homeless.”
- Vishal Narayan, founder

Expanding Our Impact
🧑🍳 Cooking Program
Teaching people how to cook for themselves and others.
We believe in the power of food not just to nourish, but to empower. Through our community Cooking Program, we teach participants how to make affordable, healthy meals — skills that support self-sufficiency, confidence, and family well-being. These classes are hosted on-site and via our mobile kitchen when possible, and are open to community members of all ages.

🐾 Pet Outreach
Because our furry friends deserve love too.
Unhoused individuals often rely on their pets for emotional support, security, and companionship. Through our Pet Outreach efforts, we provide free pet food, basic supplies, and connection to veterinary support where available. When we serve people, we strive to serve their animal companions too.

🗑️ Trash Pickup
Cleaner streets, stronger communities.
We’re committed to keeping our neighborhoods clean and beautiful. Our volunteers regularly organize trash pickup days in Orange County and the SF Bay Area, helping to restore dignity to underserved areas. We believe that a clean environment is a key part of community wellness and public health. Everyone deserves to live in a safe, sanitary, and uplifting space — and we’re here to help make that happen, one block at a time.
